“Thank you for everything Kathy! Your story was one of the most inspiring stories and touched me the most =] You have changed my life and every time someone asks me what I've learned or what happened at GYLS I would tell them about your story... I have retold your story 6 times already and every person I've told it to was so touched as well. I have learned so much from your story - from unconditional love, forgiveness, appreciation for my life and everything I have, and the strive for the what we want and believe in even if we think it is impossible. Thank you so much for everything. I love you!”

“I can not thank you enough for the wonderful job you did at the District 5300 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA). From the moment you began speaking you held those kids in the palm of your hands and for 16 and 17 year-olds that is no small feat. The evaluations completed by the students indicated you were a huge hit! More importantly, through your speech got directly to the heart of RYLA. Our goal for young leaders who attended was to look beyond the expectations that other might have for them and see what was in their own hearts. You demonstrated that the only real obstacle in the way of personal fulfillment and success for themselves, and those they lead, where there own perceptions. It was right on target! I want to sincerely thank you for all you did to make RYLA 2006 a tremendous success. Keep up the great work, Kathy. There are many more who need to hear your uplifting message.”

“"I cannot tell you how excited we are - it is insane. You are without a doubt one of the best I have ever seen, and I am 57 years old, and have taught for 31 years and gone to tons of leadership conferences, events, etc. You stand out like a beacon of light. How can I thank you enough? Your speech today was absolutely the highlight of the conference. You could see by the multiple standing ovations that we were all, students and adults, moved by your words that touched all of us. Your message was powerful and wonderful. All students should hear your message of love of others and seeing their beautiful souls. And loving oneself, because without that, there is no loving others. Your wisdom is astounding - what a gift you have for the secret of living a beautiful life. You fulfilled every dream of mine. You were the number-one hit of the conference, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Every parent I have talked to, every student I have chatted with - the first thing they loved about CSLC was YOU. You touched the lives of 850 students and 250 teachers. You have a gift of connecting in such a personal way, so that each person feels the message was for them. The messages you give are so beautiful, it makes me wish I could just have you reach every student in every province and state. Your message of love and understanding is universal and the way you share your stories is real, personal and beautiful. There was not a dry eye in the house, and at the same time, I saw laughter on the faces of everyone. That is what struck me when I saw you in Reno at CADA (the California Activity Directors Association). I knew you were a special and magical person who has a soul that is what all of us need to strive to achieve. I really don't know how to thank you enough. CSLC 2015 will always be associated first and foremost with Kathy Buckley, and that will make me proud and happy for years to come. Thank you for your generosity as well Kathy. Heavens, you really live the conference theme: When giving is receiving. What you put out into the universe truly makes the world a better place. If we could only clone someone as special, smart, empathetic, giving, energetic, witty, loving, entertaining and beautiful as you - the world would be an even more amazing place. You have a special vision and instinct that you learned all by yourself. You really are a genius, and a kind, sweet genius at that! Sending you the world's biggest hug. I will never find the words to thank you enough for the gift you gave to the conference and to me. You are the best."”
